The Civil Division of the Sheriff’s Office is responsible for serving court-related documents. There are also many civil papers that are served through our Civil Division that have been sent by foreign county courts.

Service of Papers (State of Ohio only)

  • Complete copy of the paperwork
  • Stamped envelope,  addressed to the court
  • Special instructions for service, if any
  • DO NOT send a payment, an invoice will be on the return of service
  • Payments are made after service has been attempted/served

  • Stamped envelope, addressed to the court
  • Certification of Service (link below) completed by your clerk of court’s office
  • Notary Paperwork (if required by your state)
  • Special Instructions for service if any

  • Payments are made after service has been attempted/served
